The National Service Authority (NSA) has extended the registration deadline for the 2026/2027 service year to Friday, 23 October 2026.
The extension moves the initial closing date from 15 October, offering extra time for eligible prospective personnel who are yet to finish their enrolment process.
According to the management of the NSA, the decision aims to ensure no eligible candidate is left behind due to delays in completing the required steps.
In a press release issued on Friday, 16 October 2026, the Authority urged affected personnel to capitalise on the extension and complete their registration promptly.
“The extension is intended to provide an additional opportunity for all eligible personnel who have not completed their registration to do so within the new deadline,” the statement read.
Management further advised candidates to follow all prescribed procedures strictly to avoid last-minute challenges.
“All affected personnel are therefore urged to take advantage of this extension and complete their registration before Friday, October 23, 2026, to avoid any inconvenience associated with missing the deadline. The National Service Authority remains committed to ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for all eligible National Service Personnel,” the Authority added.
